It was 2015 the year of the great hard drive crash, my sloppy approach to backing up individual shoots bit me on the ass big time and I lost a lot of images...… until late last week ! while checking out some unlabelled cd's I found some shoots I thought long gone which I never uploaded for one reason or another. Anyway I will be doing so shortly even though they are from 2010 and earlier as (I think) they're worth an airing. To date its not been a year for getting out into the wild with camera and model, just hoping for a mild autumn and the right circumstances to rectify that. 
We've had some great weather this summer but with an equal amount of poor weather, and all our travels seemed to coincide with the latter; at the same time Benson the dog has ruptured a cruciate ligament severely restricting the distances he can manage, and Janice will go absolutely nowhere without him...…. everything is against me !

Anyway thanks for watching, its been great fun up to now...… lets hope it continues !!…………. Greg and Jan.

Already a different start to 2019, an unexpected spell of warm weather in March with temperatures reaching a balmy 18C (or 64F for my American friends) to Janice taking her clothes off in March......outside ! The latter was quite unexpected, Janice and the dogs were about 500M ahead of me during a walk on Branscombe beach due to my digging around in the cliffs for sea urchin fossils, when I did catch up I found her stretched out behind a rock on the beach as you can see by the recently uploaded images. Not sure which was brighter, the sun or the reflection off of a very white body !! 
Still, its a start and hopefully the first of many excursions in the great outdoors this year. 
I hope all our followers and friends are well and looking forward to summer.

After the catastrophic hard drive failure I had last year its fair to say I have become somewhat obsessed with backing up!, external hard drive, cd's, the cloud, flash drives all now in play. 
During the transfers I was surprised (not sure why) to find that I have over 30,000 images taken over the years, a lot of which remain unseen as I've obviously only submitted a few of each shoot each time.
The upshot is, that like a real photographer I will be having a bit of a retrospective from time to time as I review various shoots we did, so dont be alarmed at images appearing where Janice has dark hair !!
I've had to overcome....."but I dont look like that now " from my model, by reassuring her that its the image and not how old they are that matters, and I feel they are worth submitting.
As always the year is flashing by so thanks to everyone for watching and commenting its very much appreciated by us both...…… Greg & Jan.

Well, it only took 50+ days of continuous sunshine for Janice to finally shake off winter, (which lasted until well into April this year) and decide it was warm enough to take off her cardigan ! 
Long spells of uninterrupted good weather are rare in this temperate climate of ours, this green and pleasant land is looking a bit brown and dry currently, hose pipe bans cannot be far away !
Now Janice has some colour about her we have been out and about in Cornwall and North Devon and managed to take pictures in both areas, some of which I am about to upload onto DA. Hopefully more will follow as we continue to hit that coast...….thanks for watching, always appreciated, Greg & Jan.

Back in November I announced " Winter is here" meaning of course some rain and a little frost; little did I know it would not arrive properly until March 2018 with snow on two separate occasions....... more than we've had in 40 years in this neck of the woods. Well, there has certainly been no inclination on the part of my model to take off even one layer of clothing since last summer, and that looks like continuing until we see some warm weather again.
I have been taking photos over the winter and will be uploading some landscapes taken while out and about in this beautiful part of the world.
Here's looking forward to some warm weather and longer days to come, thanks for watching and taking the trouble to comment we both appreciate it and will continue at least for a while longer..........Greg and Jan.....
